> setting intentions.

return of the blog.

I imagine this space to be sort of like… chronicles of a late bloomer.

there are so many ways to show up on the internet these days. platforms, applications, websites… so many places to find people, to share ideas, information, art, opinion, creation etc. I love to lurk on Instagram and TikTok (occasionally on X), but I feel like there’s something I’m missing. Something I know I felt in the past.

To put it exactly, I miss the feeling of following blogs :

  1. long (longer) form content that is relatable and engaging
  2. writing
  3. the excitement of discovering new views, new things and learning (there are pockets of TikTok that recreate the feeling to certain extent, but not in the fun and authentic way of the early years of blog content — sincerelyjules and karlascloset times)

so I intend to use this space like I did many years ago, like blogger. a random space on the internet to host my thoughts, capture my notes, share some experiences, share the work of creators I love and enjoy. you know, stuff.
